A little Korean tradition, in rural NSW.

The experience

What is
a Hwangtobang?

황토방

A Hwangtobang is a traditional Korean heated clay room, enjoyed as a sauna.

Hwangto refers to the yellow earth or clay; bang means room. The experience centres on spending time in a warm, earthy space and taking time to rest.

At Sydney Hwangtobang, you can arrange an overnight stay with family or a group, enjoy the Hwangtobang and gather for a Korean charcoal barbecue.
